Review on Dorman 674 608 Integrated Catalytic Converter by Shawn Sims

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Super offer, 1/4 of the repair costs at the dealer!

Very happy with my purchase but I would advise anyone buying this unit to also purchase the following if you don't already have: Anti-Seize, O2 sensor key, universal joint for your socket set and Chilton repair manual for torque settings. I also suggest that you replace the O2 sensor at this point as it is not expensive and you may unknowingly damage it if you remove it. Dealer commission was quoted with a $1,600 service coupon. Local parts dealers had prices ranging from 500 (cheap without a heat shield) to 985.00 for an OEM replacement. Full removal and replacement for non-mechanics, with great care from start to finish, took 3 hours. Price Paid Revain delivered to my home in 2 days $209, 15:00 Saturday morning. Saved $1391.00 and 1 hour (dealer said it would take about 4 hours).
