I have had plantar fasciitis for almost a year and have found that shoes with support and cushioning reduce the frequency and intensity of pain. I wanted something that was easy to put on and take off but could be worn with socks in the winter or sockless in the summer, so I wanted to give it a try. They seem to offer excellent hand support and the cushioning is more than adequate. They're bigger in the middle than the back, so there's a slight learning curve to deal with the "rocking" feeling when walking, but it's not a huge issue. The only small problem is that they are on the warm side. Even without socks, my feet were a bit sweaty. It's not a big problem in cold weather, but I'll wear supportive sandals in the summer. Considering the price I was very happy with the support and comfort they offered. The fit was also perfect, which surprised me as I expected them small.
