When I first opened the battery compartment, the o-ring was not properly placed in the case and was deformed, which is easy to fix. I put the battery in and it worked as described. I liked that he reacted well to the increase in speed. It also tended to wobble a bit at idle until it settled down. What I didn't like was that the wire had to be wrapped around the spark plug wire multiple times for it to respond accurately. Since I have multiple motors I find using zip ties impractical unless permanently attached to a specific motor.
