I bought this to replace a tulip shaped glass that floated off the kitchen table. Since I didn't drop it, I can't comment on durability, but I can say that this is the first beer glass I've ever had that I could just drunk pour beer into (I usually know how to pour beer properly, do it with this glass and you will get no foam) and no spilling at all. The head will stop right on the edge of the glass even if you just throw it right there. This is a glass to offer to your friend who has absolutely no idea how to pour a beer. I'll say it feels solid too, but somehow I doubt it will survive the fate that befell my poor tulip jar. All in all we've had a good time together so far. If it breaks, I'll order another one right away.
