I've installed a few Eagle Klaw floor mat holders and am very happy with them. until I took my detailing car. The Eagle Klaw retainers are easy to install and hold the mats securely in place, but you must know how to twist them to release them before removing the mats from the car. Master, of course, knew nothing and just tore them apart. My choice was to reinstall them and vomit again next time or try something else. So I tried these clips. Installation requires a little more work (a 1" hole saw and 1/8" drill bit helps a lot), but the results look and work similar to the standard driver's side. They're not as secure as the Eagle Claws, but I just need them to keep the mat from slipping under people's feet, and they do that pretty well. And I don't have to worry about parts ripping out the mounts. They just lift up like factory latches and fold back the same way. Overall I am very happy with these clips. I wish they would grip a little tighter (hence the 4 out of 5 stars) but they are quite functional and even look good so I would recommend them if you think someone else will need to remove your floor mats.
