Pot lids are sensitive to moisture. For me as a consumer, this means that water penetrates between the glass lid and the surrounding metal strip. As the lid heats up, it will make hissing, creaking, and burping noises during cooking and long after cooking as it slowly returns to room temperature. I emailed customer service, they asked for pictures so they can replace the cover. I sent photos and after 4 weeks they did nothing. I followed with a phone call. After about thirty minutes I was told on the phone that I would be getting another cap in about two weeks. The lid arrived and shortly thereafter the same problem showed up.
