Review on 🧰 Optimized Wall Bracket Kit (Gladiator GABK301PRS) for Premier Tall GearBox and GearLocker by Lori Wybenga

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you want to hang your Tall GearBox or GearLocker, you need these.

I used this to hang my GearLocker on an unfinished basement wall which I had studded and attached with 3 pieces of GearTrack. The kit includes three one-piece brackets that attach to the chassis with carriage bolts (square neck) and regular nuts. While GearTrack suspension levels can vary widely, the mounting system is extremely intolerant of flexing or flexing along the channel. Even if your wall is fairly flat, be aware that a GearLocker cabinet can be perfectly square (see the many reviews describing these cabinets buckling and warping in transit). Luckily, my top GearTrack channel was perfectly straight, so after I got the GearTrack channel off the studs, I held these clips to the case, moved the case side to side through the GearTrack channel, put in some spacers, and pounded gently with a rubber mallet (I had to gently hammer the strut into the GearTrack channel with a very long screwdriver), I got the case to rest on most of the GearTrack channels but still not completely which was a bit frustrating. After tightening the nuts on the carriage bolts, the cabinet was immobile, level, and stayed in place even after being filled with tools. It looks great and is a great way to have a secure spot in a hallway or garage; Keeping it elevated also protects it from standing water if your space is prone to flooding. Much luck!
