Satisfied with the purchase one hundred percent, I recommend the product for everyone.

I shoot with a Panasonic Lumix G3. I really liked the lens, I took it from the hands of trusted people from the forum for only 4500. Came in perfect new condition, without any scuffs, scratches and erasing marks, fully working. Prior to that, he had only kit Panasonic Lumix 14-42 mm and Panasonic 45-200 mm. Both of these lenses are frankly soapy compared to the "Olik" 40-150 - it is really sharp, every brick stands out on the building, even from afar. For Lumix owners, you can shoot handheld with this lens at all focal lengths without problems only on a bright sunny day, otherwise blurring is inevitable, because. no stabilizer. For lovers of evening shooting, I also noticed such a feature, this "olik" with a clamped aperture does not draw long clear rays around the lanterns. I tested it when shooting at night, the rays almost do not form either at 10 or at 16. It is not recommended to clamp the aperture more strongly, the image quality suffers. On Panasonic 14-42, clear beautiful rays were already at aperture 10, I don’t close it harder. But the rays are a matter of taste, as they say. The Olympus 40-150 is also not suitable for photo hunting, too small focal length, does not reach the birds in close-up, but it does not pretend to this role, for this there is an “Olik” 75-300 and a “Panas” 100-300. And the Olympus 40-150 can shoot excellent portraits, close-up landscapes, highlighting individual details, flowers, all sorts of butterflies, city streets, it zooms in well, moderately flattens the space, so that when shooting streets along the volume remains. In general, I highly recommend this lens and support all the positive and enthusiastic reviews about it, it can be found on the forums for only 5-7 thousand. handheld in excellent condition, I think this is the best moderate telephoto, for me the quality and sharpness of the image across the entire field is important and this lens provides me with all this !

Pros
  • This is excellent sharpness throughout the frame, closer to 150 mm it drops a little, but not critically, for example, Panasonic Lumix 45-200 mm compared to this soap bar, especially at the edges. Fast autofocus. Very compact size, I think this is the smallest telephoto. Almost complete absence of chromatic aberrations. Distortion is not visible to the eye at all. It perfectly holds backlight, whether it be the sun or a lantern, with almost no glare, sometimes it does not form glare at all.
Cons
  • Lack of a built-in optical image stabilizer (noticeable only for owners of Panasonic Lumix cameras). The hidden part of the lens, which is very strongly retracted forward, at 150 mm the lens becomes exactly twice as long. The absence of a hood in the factory kit. Plastic bayonet.
