Very surprisingly long battery life. I was tired that they would easily waste the battery and they didn't. We've taken them to multi-day events and haven't had to change batteries! We checked them out: Dallas Cowboy Boot Camp 2 days excluding comic activities, 1 day and 2 days at Disneyland. I love that you can hang them around your neck and they still explode on you. Very compact and fits easily in a jeans pocket. I thought it was a useless and unnecessary item but it was such a boon for warm outdoor events. Its worth it!
