They keep me cool at work. I see dozens of these on co-workers throughout the day. You are only limited by the battery used. A quality battery will last longer than a fan. I use them 8-16 hours a day, 5 days a week. The first 2 I's lasted a total of about a year (so 6 months each) with the same service life before the motor in them burned out. They last longer than I expected. When these die I will buy 4 more packs.

The fan seems a bit noisy which I would appreciate if the airflow was a little stronger. I'm not terribly excited about it, but hopefully it will keep the kids cool while they melt away at Disney. Update - we went to Disney with these fans in July and I really don't know if they helped much. I don't think the hassle of packing and carrying them was worth the cooling they offered. I'm sure there are better solutions that don't require so many batteries.

This little fan saves lives. Its size makes it very practical to prevent hot flashes and the different colors available allow you to accessorize whenever you want. O bought a variety of colors. I wear one to work in a factory and I love it! It's so small and the vent directs air to my face and the straps allow me to adjust the height (how close I want the airflow to my face). I heard it would be good for visiting theme parks in summer and yes it is. Literally lifeguards! If you go to a theme park like Disney World or Six Flags in the hot summer, I highly recommend them. Especially if you go somewhere humid. Really helps with stagnant humid air. WEIGHT: They are very light and hang around the neck.
