Assembly instructions were quite simple, assembly worked well. Connecting the back was a bit tricky due to the arc of the steel bar. After installing the screws on either side of the back, the arc in the middle was enough to make the length of the screw too short to thread the nut on. I had to use a piece of cardboard to avoid damaging the surface with a small vise. Pinching the bar was enough to allow more length of bolt to attach and tighten the nut. This was necessary to tighten the assembly. Otherwise the bolt was just too shy to be long enough to attach the nut to tighten. The rest of the assembly was easy. The backrest has some spring, which makes the chair more comfortable. Gave these bar stools 4 stars just because the nut had to be screwed to the back wall with a vise.
