We are very happy with these bikes for our four year old twins. They had never used training wheels before, but switching from smaller bikes was an instant hit - the kids took to it straight away. We chose this particular model because the bikes don't look childish and they come in two colors (red and blue) that both boys like. The assembly was easy and uncomplicated. Now our whole family enjoys hiking together on bikes or scooters. While researching bikes for kids this age, I've seen many articles suggesting that training wheels should be left out altogether. I don't quite understand the logic behind this - our children really appreciate their support and when the time comes we will remove the extra wheels. Meanwhile, without tears and with instant fun.
