Usefulness of the peeler

Disappointed with this peeler. Slippery to stay put during use and when wet. Cut the veggies too deep and the tip you would use to dig out a potato's eyes will be rounded, not pointed, and useless. The handle design is ergonomically a good idea, but was too round and slippery for me.
