Best Value Smart Kettle

[NOT PAID REVIEW] Compared to other smart kettles on the market, Korex truly offers the best value and ease of use. This is the second we have bought. The first only lasted five months and we bought it with no warranty. This time we have opted for a 4-year guarantee. Here are the reasons we decided to buy Korex again: 1) Price. Others are more expensive than what you're getting anyway. 2) Transparency. Others have an opaque outer surface, while Korex has a transparent one, allowing you to see the internal condition of the container. This is important, even if we only use it to boil water, because it forms a solution when our water filters reach their expiration date. So we know that we definitely don't need to change our water filters. As soon as we change it, the base will clean itself up. 3) Temperature settings. Others don't have the Korex's complex control settings, which have 11 settings from 122F to 212F, as well as the ability to "cook to temperature" (heat to desired temperature) or "cook then cool to temperature" (full temperature). boil to disinfect, then bring to desired temperature). You can even ask the Korex to keep it at your desired temperature for a couple of hours (you don't need to do that anymore because it's designed to save energy; heating on demand until the water is next used, so great !). We do 212F for a full boil of soups and 167F for hot drinks. Korex water takes half as long to fully boil as it does on the stove. And drinks taste MUCH BETTER at 167F when they don't burn your lips and tongue. 4) remote control. Some other semi-smart kettles allow you to set the temperature, but cannot be controlled remotely via smartphone. Korex is a truly smart kettle that connects to your phone via the "Smart Life" app. I love being able to heat water on the way home so we don't have to wait to start cooking or while I'm getting ready for a work day without having to ask anyone for help or having to climb up and down stairs. (Although it currently only connects to a phone, I have faith in Korex and hope they develop family-friendly kettle management software.) Still, I'd advise people to use Korex for water only. because its electronic components are not designed to be washed with detergent in the sink or dishwasher. It's ONLY intended to retain WATER and remove bacteria by using the heat of repeatedly boiling water when it's "dirty". DO NOT throw tea leaves, ground coffee or whatever you have in it. It's just not the right way to use it or get the most out of it.
