Kayak carrier Delivered on time and easy to assemble. Everything was perfect until I loaded my second 9.5ft kayak onto the top shelf. At this point, the horizontal support bar is fully detached from the vertical post as shown. Instead of throwing away that expensive post, I was able to tie a horizontal support rod to a vertical post with about 4 zip ties. Currently self-supporting. I've also reinforced the other side with zips in case it breaks too. I have two more kayaks and need another rack. I wanted this one to be perfect, but it didn't last a single day with my 2-9.5ft Swifty Perception kayaks.
