For a while I used some expensive Shure and Blue Yeti mics for radio production at home. Our community radio station Radio Free Georgia WRFG FM has had to close its studios due to Covid19, so we prepare our programs at home with the help of a network of volunteers. I've tried all kinds of microphones. The biggest problem was the noise. A good mic picked up toilet flushes, air conditioners, footsteps, and more. They are made for soundproof studios. Not for houses where people live. This headset has a noise canceling microphone so when used in Audacity I get a clean recording to use on my What the People?! radio show. There may be better ones out there but I see no reason to look for any other set as this one is very good for voice overs. I'm not a gamer, but this damn thing glows everywhere. But I do radio, so who cares? I recommend the product.
