Features two large and extremely bright LEDs that blink continuously when the cable is plugged in. It's a horrible idea considering the adapter will be right next to my laptop where I'm trying to get work done but am constantly distracted by nasty flashing lights. Even with the adapter facing away from you, they're so bright you can still see easily and get distracted by the light illuminating the Ethernet port and any nearby surfaces. The ethernet port itself is also poorly designed, and once you plug it in, it's very difficult to remove the ethernet cable. I strongly recommend buying another adapter. I am sending this back.
