Doesn't work with MacOS 11.5.1 (Big Sur)

I downloaded the driver from the ASIX website and tried to install it and I get a dialog box saying "This software needs an update. Contact the developer for more information."

Fell apart in my hands

The first time I turned it on it worked great. But when I tried to unplug the ethernet cable everything fell apart and now I can't unplug the cable. The cable is stuck in the housing.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Just plug and play, works well

Purchased on the advice of a techie because my zoom kept crashing and I had to restart my laptop, wireless router and cable modem to get a reliable connection. I haven't had any problems with Zoom since using this adapter and connecting it via cable, so I recommend it 100%.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons

Works great!: USB Network Adapter

My Microsoft Surface Dock's ethernet was the bottleneck for my 400Mbps internet for some reason. With this USB adapter, I'm now getting the full 450Mbps I'm paying for. The adapter consumes 0.65 W of electricity and gets quite warm when touched. With one year of continuous operation, it consumes around 5.7 kWh of electricity. That's enough to drive a Tesla 25 miles!

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Very cheap and easy solution to ethernet port problems.

If you're having trouble connecting to your Ethernet network for any reason, whether it's due to drivers, a broken pin, or unexpected behavior, this is the easiest, most affordable solution to the problem. In Windows 10 and Windows 7, it's plug and play, no need to search for drivers or install anything else, just plug and play.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Poor Design Best in Computers & Accessories

Features two large and extremely bright LEDs that blink continuously when the cable is plugged in. It's a horrible idea considering the adapter will be right next to my laptop where I'm trying to get work done but am constantly distracted by nasty flashing lights. Even with the adapter facing away from you, they're so bright you can still see easily and get distracted by the light illuminating the Ethernet port and any nearby surfaces. The ethernet port itself is also poorly designed, and once…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance
