I love the clear view behind my car, a 7 passenger 2007 Ford Freestyle station wagon. Having bought another Amtifo backup camera for my RV I found the quality to match the other unit. Clear crisp video and installation was easy too. Due to the hatchback design, I decided to hook up the license plate lights for power - I always drive with my headlights on anyway. I was able to route the power cable and antenna wire through one of the screw holes in the sunroof so all the wiring is covered by either the license plate on the outside or the hatch's inner plastic cover. This also means that everything between the camera antenna and the monitor antenna is a plastic shield and the signal path is inside the vehicle. It is cheap because of its size. With GPS on the dash, I like a smaller monitor. Sometimes I'm carrying stuff in a van that's loaded pretty high and I can't see in my rearview mirror, so that's an incredible safety factor. I also see small people directly behind the car who, in the best-case scenario, would not be visible in the mirror. I got this device to test and can recommend it without reservation. If I were to put this in my Civic sedan I would probably hook it up to the backup lights instead of the license plate lights since the wiring in a truck is more accessible by car.
