The case has a very good grip. Non slip, unlike the Mophie Air I tried. Also it charges via wireless, which might be slower than the lightning plug types, but not really sure. Nice touch is that they cut an opening for the phone’s own lightning plug so you can charge the phone without charging through the case. I think this is a nice touch if you use the EarPods. The case charges with the same lightning cable so that’s a big plus. If you do need to charge the case if will top off the phone while charging the case. Does get warm while using or charging but not hot. Very well made and great fit to the phone.
