I had a U-lock but couldn't wear it on the bike. When I saw the Foldylock frame mount I was amazed at how the designers understood the needs of cyclists. Even if the lock is heavy, the coating on the lock prevents damage to the bike's paintwork. After several tries I found a method that makes it easy to get the lock around the post and through the spokes with the keyhole up. It's just as easy to use as my old U-lock. Only annoyance and reason for 4 stars is that the designers didn't take into account that such a long key won't fit in the front pocket when cycling. There is no reason the key should be that long (my daughter has a secure bike lock and the key is much shorter). A shorter key would mean I would keep the key on my keyring at home, thus reducing the likelihood of key loss. With a key that long, I have to handle it differently and remember to grab it before I drive off.
