BAD quality, BAD design, absolutely BAD product.

I bought these about a month ago and used them for the first time yesterday. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Absolute rubbish. Well, I'm by no means a novice, novice, or mechanically inept. I'm a handyman and am very knowledgeable about the mechanics of my craft, so my rating isn't based on my inability to figure out how to use this lint brush. First let me say that the brush head is well built and does what it's supposed to do. It fits snugly in the dryer's 4-inch air duct and does a good job of removing and cleaning accumulated lint. But the rods and connecting bushings are complete rubbish. If your dryer duct is not straight and is less than 4 feet long, DO NOT purchase this product. I have several 90 degree sheets and bought these to solve the problem of constant lint build up which increases drying time and is a fire hazard. The poles are made of very soft nylon plastic. I connected the 2 sections together with the brush head and stuck it in the channel. The bars were so brittle that they buckled when trying to push them past the first 90 degree bend. Then I attached the end of the rod to the drill bit. I used a low speed and almost immediately twisted the first part of the rod in half, allowing me to remove the brush head from the channel, which was recessed 2 feet into the dryer channel, with a roughly 6-inch rod. After 20 minutes of extraction, I decided against better judgment to just manually insert a few pieces of the brush head wand into the canal. The rods were so weak that they just buckled in the channel and I couldn't get more than 4 sections to work. When I pulled them out, the rods were constantly bent and wouldn't straighten. If you decide to use them with a drill (which I would NOT recommend), be aware that if you turn the drill in the opposite direction at any point, the brush head as well as the shaft sleeves will unwind as there are no holders. or a mechanical device to keep the sections from detaching by themselves. All in all, it's absolute rubbish. Except for the brush head itself. Poles. Throw them out before they get stuck in the dryer vent.
