Doesn't work with Explorer 2002, contrary to what the Revain detail checker says. Explorer 2002 has a 2-wire switch and a 4-wire connector. It looks like Ford won't be selling the original Pollak brand switch and the new switch will need to be rewired (I suspect the wiring/connector was also an issue as ours works and stops working by pulling on the connectors wobbles/erases), so I returned. This one ordered one with a 2-wire connector and cable replacement kit (for splicing and reconnecting to existing wiring). Also note that the Explorer has very little space in this area, so turn on some lights and make sure you see what the original part was like. installed and ready to curse (the person who designed it) at least a hundred times! :-)
