I didn't get a keyboard and mouse but I was fine with that (next I got them)

My kit didn't come with a keyboard or mouse as shown in the pictures but I didn't bother about that. I ordered this and the i3 version from the same supplier a day later and the second arrived today with mouse and keyboard (new/not even opened!). I would buy one or both without the keyboard and mouse if that was an option as I have a few extras anyway. (Why add more clutter when you're downsizing computers to free up disk space anyway? LOL) The system, as expected, Windows was up and running after a few updates. I then pulled out that drive and replaced it with an SSD that already had Linux Mint 18 or 19 installed. It worked the first time, no changes were needed. I didn't move the small brackets from the original SSD to the Mint SSD. The drive bay has mesh sides that hold it pretty tight and don't have room to move anyway, so I'll probably just leave the brackets on the original drive and swap out the drives. as required without the hassle of moving devices. The system is fast and tiny, which was my main reason for buying it - clearing out mid-size towers with 95w processors and replacing them with faster computers taking up 1/6th of the space. and work coolers with 35 watt processors. Interestingly, the system boots from USB before the internal drive in the boot order. My old SSD was plugged into a USB port to download files and the next reboot sent me straight to my old desktop running off the SSD over USB! That's good because I'm using a Displayport to HDMI adapter to get the picture and nothing happens until the desktop comes up. (UPDATE: I have the correct 4K adapter cable and I can see the loading screens now. The 1080p cable wasn't enough for my QHD monitor.) I think these tiny 600 G1 and 800 G1 systems are the best value right now - offer value for money . if you want to replace old, hotter Behemoth computers with tiny, beautiful new ones. I'm not a big fan of HP systems when it comes to BIOS, but they get good reviews, so I'm giving them a chance to be my daily drivers.
