Canvas Restoration - Arts, Paints & Crafts
I mostly use black gesso to restore canvases that children have drawn on but decided they liked what they drew didn't like. Instead of throwing away the canvas I use black gesso to cover up her unwanted paintings and then we use them to paint something else. White plaster is great for a new canvas, but doesn't cover up unwanted paintings very well. It's too clean.
