The main problem with this product is that I expected it to be brighter. Product photos can be a bit misleading in this regard, but I should have known: On battery power, the brightness cannot compete with other brighter LED products. There were several other issues which, along with the above, forced me to return the lamp.1. No WiFi support. You must be within Bluetooth range to control the lamp. This means no API call control is supported (ignore that last part unless you're a programmer looking for deep integration with your home automation). Most important: no support for Google Home, Alexa, etc.2. The lamp is made of plastic, not glass. For something portable that needs to be touched to change position, this seems a bit cheap. The app makes it difficult to set up animations (see the DIY section), although I have to admit that once you find it, it's pretty powerful. The lamp will not turn on/off when plugged into a switch controlled outlet. It probably makes sense for a battery-powered device, but it also means it can't be used as a replacement for a table lamp unless you want to pull out your phone or walk around in the dark to press the single button on the back.
