I'm giving 4 stars here because I'm trying to rate the device, not its device quality. an experience. I believe this box was previously opened and returned due to some of the packages being ripped open and some parts being moved into regular ziplock storage bags. One side of the wall mount was scratched down to bare metal, but I'm guessing no one will see it. It's behind the TV. I checked the contents against the user manual and it turns out someone did a good job of getting everything back, so I proceeded with the installation. There was some weird stuff going through the steps, for example I had to remove the VESA plate from my arm and it was already disconnected. I had to put on the silver trim and they were already fitted. I kept going until the directions were followed, but I ended up with a ziplock bag with a couple (maybe 10) of black nylon grommets of two different lengths. I never found out where they go. I thought maybe the pivot points, but I took one apart and found a very heavy shoulder bolt that was too big for those bushings. If any company representative is reading this please let me know where they are going and if they even belong to this bloc. However. I lifted the mount and it didn't even move up or down with much force. Someone tightened the adjustment so much it snapped when I unscrewed it (maybe why did they bring it back?) and the TV started floating as intended. So far the block is fine. Just a little sticky when moved but honestly how many times will I move it once I put it where I like it. Seems very strong. I love the look of the device and I love the concept and it works well so I'm sticking with it. It covers all the angles and inclines I was hoping for, so I'll stop complaining and enjoy! I will try to attach a photo of the bags and damage.
