Much better than my starter kit. This tiny squirrel cage was noisy and getting worse and worse. It was louder than a Coway Airmega 1518 at level 2. The significantly larger fan in this case is not only quieter than an air purifier, but also quieter than my PC in the best Fractal Design case (huge fans at ultra low speed with dynamo). To be honest none of them make enough noise to be considered a problem. The old closet was also clean and all the LEDs just splattered on the bed. Now they're visible when needed, but not as bright. I also liked that the circuit board was screwed down instead of being held by the case itself. Yes, it's harder to unscrew, but you won't accidentally break it.
