Requires soldering but works as expected. Haven't tried the RGB strip yet but I'm pretty sure it will work as I have a PCB that only uses one transistor to operate. I'm using the WS2812FX library for animations. No more than 5 volts may be required to power the board. I use a micro USB module where I cut data tracks with a blade and plug them into a wall charger. I also have another one that I connected the DC input to.
