these are incredibly built. I say this because over 15 years ago I took 4 of these lights to convert my 1971 Buick Skylark to LED by grinding the lens on a bench grinder until I was just left with the circuit board and putting it under the original -Lens taillight installed. They had no protection other than a small dab of silicone on the corners to keep them from moving and I just had the first bug. 15+ years later! These are the highest quality headlights. they cost a little more but they are worth it.
