Not compatible with Model 60 bulb version

If you think this is the way to stop ordering Model 60 bulb assemblies, guess again. They changed the plug from the incandescent version so you need to buy an adapter kit. Any engineer who thinks this is a good idea deserves a quick kick in the groin.

Pros
  • Meets stringent front, park and turn requirements
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

Trucker Lite in brake lights, turn signals and taillights

Model 60 Light is a little expensive. The light is bright and comes to the hole. It would make sense to order a rubber cover for it. However, if you are using the rubber boot, you may need to file down the small plastic protrusions on the sides of the truck to allow it to fit easily into the rubber boot.

Pros
  • LEDs have no filament so they are not subject to shock and vibration which are the main cause of failures
Cons
  • Expensive

still works after 15 years

these are incredibly built. I say this because over 15 years ago I took 4 of these lights to convert my 1971 Buick Skylark to LED by grinding the lens on a bench grinder until I was just left with the circuit board and putting it under the original -Lens taillight installed. They had no protection other than a small dab of silicone on the corners to keep them from moving and I just had the first bug. 15+ years later! These are the highest quality headlights. they cost a little more but they are

Pros
  • Less amperage draws longer battery and alternator life and also delivers more power to others
Cons
  • Not automatic
