*MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A KETTLE* I was a little disappointed to see that it doesn't actually 'boil' water. It's fine if you have a kettle, but the bottom of the press (after removing the sticker) says not to use it on the stovetop or any heat source. If you look at it critically, it probably won't be able to heat up without breaking. since it is double-walled stainless steel. It's a shame, but it's worth noting that this isn't a one-pot camping solution. Other than that, this is a pretty cool coffee maker. I was concerned that the filter press wasn't big enough to ensure a good seal against the walls of this press. However, I haven't gotten any land in my cup yet. Works like a champ. I like pressed coffee, it is much nicer to prepare and pleasant to drink. This press keeps my coffee HOT! I'll use it for myself and when I come back after my first cup it's just as hot as it was when I poured my first cup. It even evaporates when I open it before throwing away the soil! The press keeps my coffee hot but doesn't need a stand as the outside stays at room temperature. Stanley has a lifetime guarantee on it. I was concerned about the edge of this press as it is made from a single thin sheet of stainless steel. It looks like it might bend or get damaged if accidentally dropped. Let's hope that never happens, but it comes with a guarantee, so it's very nice. There are no more coffee filters, which makes cleaning even easier, the press is fully functional. It is very easy to remove, cleaning is very simple. Looks great and has a great finish. The handle is detachable but made of plastic. This press offers a lot of volume. Filled to the line, four large cups make joe. Not small coffee mugs, but those thick mugs that are now the norm. The pouring is excellent, the coffee pours out a lot, no thick and no leaking! I am very impressed with how well it flows into my coffee mug. This is a great press, it would be great if I could put it straight on the stove as per the description. but still a great start to my day. Solid 4 stars.
