NOT COOK. Great thermos and squeezer, but NOT a UNIVERSAL beverage maker.

I confess that I made a bad choice by not reading the reviews before making my decision. (This is rare as I rely heavily on product reviews before choosing one product over another.) However, this is a Stanley branded product and Stanley is known for making quality products with superior functionality and craftsmanship. Large capacity, misleading advert

*MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A KETTLE* I was a little disappointed to see that it doesn't actually 'boil' water. It's fine if you have a kettle, but the bottom of the press (after removing the sticker) says not to use it on the stovetop or any heat source. If you look at it critically, it probably won't be able to heat up without breaking. since it is double-walled stainless steel. It's a shame, but it's worth noting that this isn't a one-pot camping solution. Other than that, this is a pretty cool…

A fundamental disadvantage.

I love coffee and try different ways of brewing, but haven't used a french press in a long time. this one looked interesting. My very first impression was - my goodness, it wasn't well packaged at all. This is a french press with no packaging, no box nothing, just a french press in a shipping box with whatever else you have in your order.
