As advertised. Works perfectly!

Works 100% as advertised. Hiding the device behind a plastic engine cover can be tricky depending on the bike/frame type. I basically tied the zipper cords neatly and tightened the lid. Of course, everyone wants to know how fast your bike can go. I have a hardtail with a 2nd generation Bosch Performance CX motor. It can exceed 40 mph with significant effort on my part. However, this is not safe and will kill your battery/motor. These things just aren't made for this type of task, I've measured excessive heat from both the battery and drive motor, contrary to everything the bike has seen in the 3500 miles I've ridden so far. However, I bought this to turn a class 1 (20mph) ebike into a class 3 (28mph) ebike and for that it works perfectly. Don't listen to reviews that say you can't set a speed limit. The instructions aren't very clear, but you have to (quickly) switch from turbo to eco and back to turbo. Numbers related to the maximum speed support will flash on the display. From there, you can press the walk button (Intuvia display) or spin the rear wheel to increase maximum assist. It's not entirely reasonable (perhaps because of the size of the bike wheel?) but for me to set the gauge to 2.5 = 28mph with max assist. It works great for commuting from here. I put in a lot of effort and so did the bike.
