I've had a Seagate external hard drive ("Free Agent") for four years. Very reliable which is why I wanted to upgrade to this larger capacity. This device was a nightmare to set up. The manual for the device (see photo) shows what should appear on the main screen when a hard drive is connected. No! Nothing. I found the drive in Windows 10 but when I opened it there was a series of steps with apps like Toolkit, Mylio Photos, Adobe Creative Cloud Photography, I skipped those and registered the disk. There is nothing on my homepage yet. I returned, downloaded the toolkit (which appears to be needed but was not mentioned in the first guide). I've been playing with the toolkit for an hour and still haven't been able to download anything to this hard drive. I'm returning now Addendum: I ordered a 2TB Silicon Power for the same price. Very smooth setup and successful download of Windows 10 backup.
