Review on Men's Nike Pegasus Running Shoes in Black Thunder - Athletic Footwear by James Turpin

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Extremely uncomfortable and unusable, also came in scuffs - don't slip!

Aside from being dirty and worn out, this shoe is by far the most uncomfortable shoe I've worn in a long time. Instead of an arch support, there is a raised rim on the outside of the foot. With every step, all of the weight was transferred to the arch of my foot without support. My foot was narrowed and sore for a day after testing them. In addition, even on a slightly wet surface, the forefoot of this shoe has an uneven and inefficient grip. I slipped twice while running. Also, the back of the shoe was constantly pulling my sock down and gathering it under my foot - no other shoe I use does this with socks like this. There are reviews, but if you're trying to do something physical with it, think again. Such a clearly bad design doesn't make it very clear what's going on here and why people like these shoes.

Pros
  • Very comfortable tennis shoes
Cons
  • The rubber outsole pegs failed (separately) on both shoes after only wearing them 12 times (and I'm a walker, not a runner).
