Men's Nike Pegasus Running Shoes in Black Thunder - Athletic Footwear Review

These shoes aren't bad, but they're not good either. I have purchased Pegasus sneakers and have always found them to be high quality and comfortable running shoes. This iteration of the model appears to be much narrower than previous iterations and therefore less comfortable. I have to lace my shoes very loosely or they cause leg cramps when I walk. If you have wider feet I suggest looking elsewhere. These shoes are medium in size.

Aside from being dirty and worn out, this shoe is by far the most uncomfortable shoe I've worn in a long time. Instead of an arch support, there is a raised rim on the outside of the foot. With every step, all of the weight was transferred to the arch of my foot without support. My foot was narrowed and sore for a day after testing them. I've been running for over a decade and a half and have had many running shoes from Nike and other brands. I have to put these shoes on so tight because they barely reach the heel and feel like I'm about to take them off. Literally 1/8 foot (0.125 inch or 0.317 cm) across the back would be great. Not worth the money... from the packaging some stitches get lost and cut... doesn't look like the glue will stick to the front... but they feel comfortable and light. I was fine running in them until I got about 15 miles on them. I give it about 2.5/3 stars. Fake zooms are definitely not worth the money, sorry. But hey, if you feel like spending money to see how they feel 😂, do it! I did it hahahaha

I found a strange problem with these shoes. Two strips of highly abrasive material are used to sew the upper on either side of the ankle. I've found that when I'm wearing shoes, these strips stick to my socks and damage them - tearing the fabric of the socks. I've tried three different pairs of Pegasus 36s and they all have the same issue, so this is a design issue and not a specific issue with the shoes I've tried. First there were 2 different sizes in the box. The left boot showed US size 7.5 but EU size was 38.5 while the right boot was correct size but correct size felt very tight. I'm glad I got my money back no questions asked.

Some reviewers note that the shoe is heavier than expected. Nonsense. They only weigh 8 ounces. every! They are comfortable for my 1 mile walks. In fact, they cut my 1 mile time by half a minute! Highly recommended!

I have several pairs of Nike Pegasus Zooms. You can't go wrong with these shoes. I needed something other than white, red, blue, black and gray. Nike delivered!

I have worn these shoes about 6 times and the treads are coming off the outsole. Cannot return as it is past the return window. Nike only offers a 60-day return policy.

Great shoes for running/walking. Very light and comfortable. Use 6 days a week and no problem. Bought a second pair to break in for future use. I changed the insole to a more shock absorbing one, but I always do that with athletic shoes.

Didn't even last a year. Use this trainer maybe 4 times a week and within the first few months the rubber outsole started to peel off. I ignored as much as I could because the rest of the shoe was still in decent shape, but over time practically the entire sole had come loose. It's a shame

I previously had a Zoom Pegasus (34?) and liked it better for running. This Pegasus lacks the slight cushioning of the foot that the earlier Pegasus had. However, I would buy the next generation when it comes out.

These shoes have less material than soccer flip flops. This matches what Free Run had about 10 years ago. A disappointing pair of sneakers at $130.

The tread of these shoes is completely washable. I have only used these shows for casual wear and they are meant to be sneakers.

This is the second pair of this model that I have bought. They look great, are comfortable, well made and are great for my daily 5 mile walk/run. As mentioned above, this is an older model that was replaced a few years ago. Hard to find.

I don't know what's wrong with the quality of Nike shoes. I have used this pair of shoes about 5 times and the sole has started to peel off as have the sides of the shoes. I have 4 shoes of the same style just different colors and these pairs are fine. Original Nike Zoom Pegasus, I have a pair, nothing has chipped for 2 years. This poor quality upset me because the price I paid wasn't worth it. I gave it to my son to beg for school. January is April 4th and this shit is falling apart.

I've been a size 12 since I was a teenager. Size 12 always fits me. I ordered them and they were snug and narrow and tight around my legs. I don't think my legs have gotten any wider.
