I used to use regular main speaker cable. I use top of the line tube preamps and power amps with the Martin Logan 35. I've noticed a definite improvement in musical detail with the 12 gauge silver plates; especially in the middle range. The ML speakers are very insightful. Accordingly, cable improvements can be more noticeable than some other more forgiving speakers and electronics. These cables are inexpensive. Big spend may not lead to significant improvement - if at all. My cables are 25 feet relative length. Didn't realize they rolled with them. High quality connectors - fit snugly to power amp and speaker. It was nice that I could simply unplug the connectors to run the speaker cables through the narrow cable ducts in my racks.
