I read other reviews before purchasing this product and read that others complained about weak tea and the lack of a regulator on the teapot like the older model. I love strong tea and grew up making tea on the stove. We live in a world where it's easier to complain than to find a solution and share it with others. I prefer the latter. Strong Tea - Fill the pot to the water level. Pour water into the kettle. Leave the pitcher empty. Place tea bags in the cooler. brew tea. When the tea is brewed, pour the tea bags from the brew basket into the warm tea in the pot and let it steep for 15 minutes. (Do not stir while the sachets are in the pot or tea residue will be left on the bottom of the pot and glasses). After leaving the pouches in the warm liquid for 15 minutes, remove and discard the pouches. Then add the desired amount of sugar, if any, to the warm tea and stir. (Adding sugar to warm tea will help it dissolve and prevent ice tea from forming.) Add ice to the intended line on the pitcher. Now you have strong iced tea. If it's still not strong enough, repeat the process with other packs. If that's too much for you, there's bound to be a diner somewhere near you that offers tea for the lazy. Have fun making tea!
