Review on πŸ’‘ Apevia 500W SFX-AP500W Power Supply for Mini ITX Solution, Micro ATX, and SFX Form Factors by Alexander Chavis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Beautiful appearance, stable voltages, good connections and cable length, but marginal fan

This power supply convinced me for the price. It looks good. has a good number of SATA connectors. Features an 8-pin ATX connector (CPU) and a power button. The voltages, with the maximum load of my computer with 240 watts, did not collapse at all. The fan was very quiet when turned on and reasonable when the computer reaches normal operating temperature. The PSU fan is the noisiest fan in the computer that heats up but still not unreasonably. After a week of use, the fan started making a lot of noise when turned on. This calms down after about 15 minutes. Looks like the fan bearings need lubrication. This is a bad sign for a new power supply. For the price I still think it's a good power supply.
