In one of my cars I used to use one of those cheap vent brackets that was just a spring and clip and you had to use two hands to loosen the levers . before you could stick your phone in. Conversely, this one has a very simple button on the back, you just press it and it opens the arms. Now all I have to do is drop my phone and clasp my hands together. The stem is nice and wide, gives me enough room to plug in my phone and when I get to my destination, one more push and my phone is out of captivity! I haven't given up on Vanmass yet, so far every mount I've received from them has been really thoughtfully designed which is something I can't say about some companies.
