Disappointing - only designed for 40w bulbs which are too dim
Decent light for the price very easy to assemble and install but disappointing misinformation in the product description listing 60w max bulbs. This light is NOT rated for 60 watt bulbs, only 40 watt bulbs, which is underpowered even with 6 of them. I wish these sellers and vendors were more careful when listing their products. The light itself is actually only rated for 40w bulbs, but the product description lists 60w bulbs. Also hidden in the specs is the 'Maximum Compatible Wattage' of 240W max. Too much hassle and trouble to take it off and pack everything up now, so I leave it installed and have to either upgrade to brighter LED bulbs or a floor lamp for extra light add in space.
- Easy assembly and installation: all wiring work on the luminaire is done on site, all you need to do is assemble the luminaire (twist the lamppost using both hands until it is secure) and then do the hard wiring . Caution: A permanent connection is required.
