I did not like anything about the quality. Its cute and my cats are loving it as they destroy it with NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. I would return it but they are now used to it so I wont take it away from them. That said this cat tree will not hold the weight of over 3-4 grown cats. Do not waste your time, buy a well made SOLID WOOD CAT TREE THAT WILL LAST. DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU ONLY OWN 1-2 CATS. IT FELL OVER ALMOST INJURING MY TWO CATS.
