I think these bags will serve me as filter media for my Eheim Classic 600 (2217) filter but not the size I originally bought. Since my filter is about 7 inches in diameter, I ordered 8x12. As a result, the filter material unfortunately cannot cover the entire 7″ area. This is important, otherwise the water flowing through the filter will take the path of least resistance and not get through the filter media. I wish I had taken a picture but I didn't. I think the larger size, 12x15, would fit better, but I would like the seller to provide some sizing information to help people choose the right size.
