Review on Units Audiophile Speaker Terminated Connectors Home Audio for Home Audio Accessories by Christine Marquez

Issues with Definitive Tech, Polk Audio and Cambridge Audio terminals

These two-wire jumpers are too thick for the Polk Monitor 40 Series speaker terminals when used with banana plugs. The protrusions cover the hole for inserting a banana plug. Same problem with the Definitive Tech D-Series speakers. In fact, any banana plug connection is hindered by the thick edge on the jumper. If you plug the banana plug directly into the end of the connector plug, they work perfectly. However, you will have trouble tightening the connection from the inside of the plastic connector pin cover. Either the tips fall out or the banana plug doesn't fit. Apart from the limitation mentioned above, these are good and thick connection cables that have a secure connection to the ferrule.
