I bought this specifically for XS hair donuts because my 3 year old daughter needs a ballet bun for her dance performance and she is very short Hair. The smallest size is PERFECT. It's about the size of the mini donuts you buy at the grocery store. The medium size is about the size of my palm and the larger is slightly larger. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the ponytail holders aren't the best and they are black as are the invisible bobby pins. When buying donuts with blonde hair to match the blonde hair, hair clips of the same color would be much more helpful. I don't really care because the bobby pins are only $1 at the dollar store so I just buy a few that go with her hair. Overall a great purchase!
