My 50 lb Pittsky gets along well at dog school, pulls hard when she sees puppies. She likes to hang herself on the traditional choke collar and the harnesses seem to awaken the sled dog in her. It was just impossible to get the kids to take her for a walk without a scratching post. This collar is good but it doesn't work as well as a traditional full chain collar which gives more traction when chasing a rabbit or chipmunk. With this collar she pulls less than with a normal collar, but it is not as effective as a chain collar. I like the release buckle but am concerned that it might not hold up over time.
