I can't win when it comes to buying cheap adapters from Revain. Last year I bought a set that was the wrong shape so it didn't fit in some modern European stores. They are tapered to avoid this problem, but on a recent trip to France I found on a few occasions that the pins on these adapters were a little flimsy and the plug would fall out of the socket if even pulled slightly. If this had only happened once I would suspect a worn socket, but the fact that this has happened repeatedly in several hotels leads me to suspect that these pins are too thin. They worked, but if I even lightly touched the power cord, that plug fell out of the socket. In any case, the forks purchased looked great and appeared to be of good quality, but with imperfections that reduced their usefulness.
