Okay we just got this coat today and he's only worn it once. But I'll post it anyway because it's a very nice, well-tailored coat. Our bully Max has a 25" neck, 35" chest, 32" stomach (yes, he's a bit chubby) and measures about 26" from the base of his neck to the back of his thighs. We ordered 3x. . I wouldn't say oversized but it's a comfortable fit. I think if we went twice it would be tighter which would give him less room to move. The back leg loops dangle but I think it's better than being too tight and annoying. The neck fits perfectly. The medium adjustment is a perfect fit. The length was a bit long. My wife's coat has the same foil lining and that's one of the deciding factors in this purchase, so we already know it's a very warm coat. When I got up this morning the wind chill factor was -50°F. So this is a coat we can rely on to keep our bald man warm for the rest of this winter. So again based on our size we ordered 3 times and it's roomy but fits us all, it looks great in it and walked to the door as soon as we put it on like ok let's break this bad boy try out.
