Review on 🔦 MAG MATE WTHM01: The Ultimate Magnetic Torch Holder for Convenient Lighting by Carlos Macy

I bought this because I didn't want to waste time building it myself and the price was right. It is very well built and looks very nice. The problem is the magnet which is quite large but not strong enough to hold the flashlight on my Hobart 210 (not a big car). Using the flashlight carefully will usually stick it to the table, but using it too quickly, dropping it, or hitting the wire while it's in the holster will make it fall off the table. My table top is 1/4 inch thick steel and I think it will be thick enough to get a strong magnetic grip. When I try to attach it to the legs of a table (14 gauge I think) it holds a lot less weight. In any case. I still use it, but I have to pick it up off the floor several times a day. I'll eventually replace it with either a fixed holder I'm designing or something with a more powerful magnet.
